Operation Smile continues to help change the lives of children with facial anomalies such as cleft lip and cleft palate. Not only do we help fund medical missions around the world but during our 3rd medical mission in the UAE in June, 2019 a total of 33 patients from over 15 different nationalities, residing in the UAE, received complete healthcare evaluations. 18 patients received free corrective surgery for their cleft conditions and a further 4 patients received dental treatment.
The first day of the conference will provide an introduction to Operation Smile and the student program activities, where our student volunteers will share their experiences on working with the foundation.
The second day will focus on how to establish and run an Operation Smile school club and provide students with support and ideas from Operation Smile staff members and current school club leaders.
